How to verify a lender
Seven checks to run before you share documents or send money to any lender — including us.
Step 1
Check the domain
Genuine Westford email and links come only from westfordfinance.com. Look-alike spellings (for example "Westfort") are not us.
Step 2
Call back on a published number
Hang up and call +1 (302) 579-5439 from our website. Never use a number supplied in an unexpected email or message.
Step 3
Never pay by gift card or crypto
No legitimate lender asks for gift cards, cryptocurrency or payment to a personal account to release a loan.
Step 4
Bank details never change by email
If someone emails new wiring instructions, stop and verify by phone before sending anything.
Step 5
Expect underwriting
A real lender reviews financials, ownership and collateral. "Guaranteed approval" with no review is a red flag.
Step 6
Get terms in writing

Step 7
Use the secure portal
Upload documents only through the official portal on westfordfinance.com — never to a file-sharing link sent by a stranger.
